The night when he moved my heart ..

Article written by Jorrine See for Republic Pink

The night was warmth... with occasional soft breeze sweeping through her soft hair... she looked so lovely under the moonlight... and he felt a slight stir in his fast-beating heart... they had been meeting up pretty often since the gathering.. And now, here they were... sitting by the lovely bay... spending some time together... star-glazing... with the colorful reflections of the opposite tall buildings onto the river... the tickling of the watches seem to have come to a stop.. Sweet silence fills up the air...

... lyrics of the song kept repeating in his mind... he had got it prepared... but when would be the best time...

two souls spending timeless time together.. Two warmth hearts communicating... she felt upset... and tried hard to control her emotions... uncontrollable tears began to flow from her swollen eyes... onto her lovely cheeks... the tears looked like crystals under the moonlight.. Precious yet hurtful... he felt a strong urge to protect her... to end all misery in her... to give all that he could to her...

carefully... he took out a piece of paper.. It was the lyrics that kept repeating in his mind... she read it... he began to tell her about his secret admiration for her in the past two years... the time when he would sit at the opposite side of the lecture rooms and the tutorial rooms.. Secretly observing each and every of her moves... the happiness he felt when he finally had the chance to team up with her in projects... and the disappointment he felt when he knew she was attached that time.. The discomfort he felt when they had graduated... knowing that he could not see her as often as before... the occasional courage he had picked up... to contact her... to know about her.. To find chances to see her again... to hear her sweet voice again...

he was holding her chilling hand... it began to warm up in his hand... she felt a strong stir in her heart... as she was listening to the song.. Reading the lyrics... paying attention to each and every of his words... she felt appreciated... happiness... moved... yet confused...

they began to feel weary as the night slowly creep into their tired bodies.. Laying on her candy-colored bed, she quickly doze off with a sweet smile... and he... doze off with a wide smile in his sleep as the humming of the song and the lyrics kept repeating in the silence of the lovely night..

Sunny Day Clear Day, Cloudless Day

The small yellow flower from the story
Was wandering since he day she was born
Swinging on a swing in her childhood
Swinging her memories all the way until now.

Playing an opening theme, looking into the sky
I think of petals trying to fall
That day I skipped school for you;
That day the flower fell;
The space of the classroom;
Why can’t I see it?

That rainy day that disappeared -
How I want to be rained upon again
Never thought that I still kept my lost courage

How I want to ask again:
Will you wait or will you go away?

That day that the wind blew I tried to hold your hand
But unfortunately, the rain kept on
Falling until I couldn’t see you
How much longer until I can be beside you again?
Waiting for the day to turn clear, maybe I’ll be a little better then

Long ago, a person loved you for so long
But unfortunately, the wind kept on
Blowing, widening the gap so much further
So difficult, (I have) another day to love again
But it seems that, at the end of the tale you still said, “Goodbye”
